Yes! AASHE has several hotels reserved at lowered pricing for attendees, sponsors and exhibitors, and one hotel specifically for students. More information about hotels will be provided when registration opens. Please note that hotels are booking up quickly
How can I book the student hotel?
The link to the student hotel is provided in the confirmation email after the student has registered. Students must be registered before this link is released and the AASHE 2011 student rate is only available to registered students and a faculty chaperone. The rate is $79 (plus taxes) for a single, double, triple or quad.
I would like to share a room where can I find others that are also looking to share a room?
You can post this information on the event forum. AASHE cannot provide any recommendations however we do encourage you to reach out in the forum.
What is the conference cancellation policy?
Cancellations will be accepted through September 23, 2011 and are subject to a $50 cancellation fee for any non-student registrant. Student cancellations will be subject to a $25 fee. No refunds will be made for cancellations after this date. Requests should be sent by email to conference@aashe.org, subject line ‘CANCELLATION’ by September 23, 2011.
All refunds will be processed after the conference. A check, minus the $50 processing fee, will be mailed to the attendee at the address given during the registration process, unless the payment was made by a credit card, at which time we will attempt to refund directly to the credit card.
If you are unable to attend and would like to send someone in your place, substitutions are welcome. Contact conference@aashe.org for further instructions on how to make a substitution.
