All of AASHE's pre-conference workshops SOLD OUT in 2010. Be sure to choose your workshops as soon as possible when registration opens!

NEW! Due to the popularity of the pre-conference workshops, AASHE STARS and AASHE Sustainability Officers Workshops will be offered both in morning and afternoon sessions for targeted groups to allow for greater attendance. A wait list will also be available if registration for any workshop closes.

AASHE hosts several pre-conference workshops to build upon the overall goal of the conference: to provide a unique, open and diverse opportunity for professional netwroking and growth within the context of sustainability in higher education.

  • STARS will host two workshops at this year's conference to address content for audiences both new to STARS and existing STARS charter participants.
  • AASHE's Sustainability Officers Workshop This professional development workshop is designed for campus sustainability professionals - i.e., paid professionals on campus whose positions are dedicated to advancing sustainability across campus in multiple sectors. Job titles include sustainability coordinator, sustainability manager, director of sustainability, chief sustainability officer, etc. Sustainability Officers Workshop Part 1 October 10 8am-12pm SOLD OUT!   • AASHE's Curriculum Convocation Continuing to support higher education educators, the Curriculum Convocation will call together the community to discuss critical questions and issues, possibilities and barriers that move us toward the development of vital curriculum.
  • AASHE will once again host the CURC Workshop (College and University Recycling Coalition), details are coming soon!

Please note that you must be registered for the full conference in order to register for a workshop. Workshops are not open to anyone not registered.
