Volunteers are an integral part of the conference, whether on the Steering, Program or Host Committees, reviewing abstracts, timekeeping, or volunteering onsite by welcoming attendees.

AASHE 2011 is expected to host over 2100 attendees, and we need cannot do it without the help of volunteers throughout the conference!

If you are interested in volunteering, submit your contact information now! We will be in touch as we get closer to the conference.

Please not that while volunteer help is so greatly appreciated, in order to keep conference registration prices low and maintain expenses, volunteers for the conference do not receive a free or reduced conference pass.

Here are some of the volunteer opportunities that will be available at the conference:

  • Mobile App Mentors: If you are one of those folks that uses their mobile phone for everything including social media we would love to have you help mentor mobile app rookies on how to tweet, upload their photos to the Flickr and use their mobile device to stay connected. New this year is the 2011 Mobile App for the conference and we will need your help!

  • Registration and Greeter

  • Room/Hall Monitor (may include time keeping, directing attendees, etc.)
